Anti-abortion and anti-gay activist John Allen Burt was arrested in 2003 for molesting a 15-year-old girl living at his shelter “Our Father’s House.” He was convicted on April 1, 2004, of five counts of lewd and lascivious molestation and conduct. He was sentenced to 18 years in prison and died while serving his sentence in 2013.
