Overview
Former Fox News co-host and Trump 2020 campaign official Kimberly Guilfoyle left Fox in July 2018 after an internal investigation into sexual-misconduct allegations. Fox News reportedly paid her former assistant more than $4 million to settle the claims.
Description
A 42-page draft complaint by Guilfoyle’s former personal assistant described a pattern of inappropriate workplace conduct: requiring the assistant to work at Guilfoyle’s apartment where Guilfoyle would sometimes be nude, showing the assistant lewd images of men Guilfoyle had slept with, and discussing sexual matters in graphic detail. When Fox’s outside law firm Paul, Weiss began investigating, Guilfoyle allegedly attempted to buy the assistant’s silence with offers of $1 million, a private flight to Rome, a share of future speaking fees, and an on-air reporting role. Fox ultimately paid the assistant upward of $4 million to settle before trial. Guilfoyle’s attorney John Singer called the allegations ‘unequivocally baseless.’ Guilfoyle subsequently joined the Trump 2020 campaign as a fundraiser and was nominated by Trump in 2024 as Ambassador to Greece.
