Harry Thomas was the rightwing founder of the Creation Festival, one of the largest Christian music festivals in the United States. He was sentenced to 18 years in prison in 2019 for raping at least five children over a period of years. Thomas admitted to the abuse and expressed remorse, saying he deserved to be “cast into the sea.” The case shocked the Christian music community.
