He was arrested by the FBI in 2019 for plotting to kidnap a woman and keep her captive, and for threatening to exterminate Latinos. Lin had stockpiled weapons and created detailed plans for his attacks. His social media showed extreme devotion to Trump and white nationalist ideology.
