Robert A. McKee was a member of the Maryland House of Delegates representing District 2A in Washington County since 1994. On January 31, 2008, Washington County Sheriff deputies searched McKee’s home and seized several computers, videotapes, and other materials after receiving a tip about child pornography in the residence.

Robert A. McKee was a member of the Maryland House of Delegates representing District 2A in Washington County since 1994. On January 31, 2008, Washington County Sheriff deputies searched McKee’s home and seized several computers, videotapes, and other materials after receiving a tip about child pornography in the residence. McKee resigned from office in February 2008. He pleaded guilty to possession of child pornography on September 5, 2008, and was sentenced to 37 months in federal prison followed by lifetime supervised probation. According to his plea agreement, McKee had obtained child pornography via the Internet and mail order as early as 2004.
