Jennifer Van Laar is a California Republican campaign advisor and RedState editor who published explicit photos of Congresswoman Katie Hill without consent. The sexual cyberexploitation was intended to end Hill’s career. Van Laar obtained intimate photos and published them despite their private nature. The incident led to California passing new revenge porn laws and Hill’s resignation from Congress.
