Methodology
This taxonomy is developed using the define
logic primitive, drawing upon the "AI Governance Failure Modes" section in threat-typologies.html and relevant entries in the observation-matrix.html. The Conceptual Mapping

AI Governance Model Taxonomy
Based on the observed governance failures and the structure of the threat-typologies.html, several distinct, though often overlapping, models of AI governance can be identified:
1. Centralized Regulatory Models
Definition
Governance approaches where a primary governmental or intergovernmental body holds significant authority to set rules, standards, and enforcement mechanisms for AI development and deployment.

- • Centralized agencies responsible for oversight and enforcement.
- • Potential for comprehensive and harmonized rules within a jurisdiction.
