Todd Poole served as executive director of the North Carolina Republican Party and was a senior staff member for GOP campaigns. He was arrested for assaulting a woman in a domestic violence incident. The charges were later dropped, but the incident led to his termination from his position on Congressman Ted Budd’s staff. Poole had been a prominent figure in North Carolina Republican politics.
